Your TV stays at home.

Account and subscription data

We store your email address, a salted password hash, a hashed recovery code, Google or Apple account identifiers if you use these sign-in methods, email verification status, account sessions, linked companion credentials in hashed form, and subscription status. Stripe processes payment details; we do not store card numbers.

Sign-in emails, Google and Apple

Google or Apple verifies your identity when you choose its sign-in method. Resend delivers login and password reset codes to your email address. We request your provider identity and email only. Apple may provide a private relay email. Linked identities and purchases are associated with one internal account ID; matching email addresses alone do not merge accounts. Codes expire after 10 minutes and are stored as hashes. Email open and click tracking are disabled.

Local TV data

The companion connects to your TV over your local network. TV IP addresses, ADB private keys, installed package lists, screenshots and restore records are kept on your device by default. Do not delete the companion’s records before restoring your TV.

Service requests

Companions contact cleanyourtv.ai over HTTPS to link an account and verify subscription status. We process your IP address for short-lived rate limiting. Hosting and payment providers process information necessary to operate these services.

Your choices

You can cancel renewal and unlink companions from your account. To request account deletion or a copy of account data, contact support@cleanyourtv.ai. Retention of payment records may be required independently by the payment provider.

This policy applies to cleanyourtv.ai. It is separate from the original open-source project and its privacy policies.
